1959 - 2009
A SPECIAL INVITATION TO ALL MEMBERS
In
1959 a very special group of men came together to form the fraternal
organization of Elks in Franklin. To celebrate this event, we are
having a Lodge birthday party on Sunday June 28th, at 4 o’clock p.m. At
this time, we would like to invite all Franklin Elks Lodge members
and their guests, to please come down and say hi, see some old friends,
and to tour the lodge if you have not seen the facilities in a while.
We are very lucky to have 8 original “Charter” members still with us
from the very first class initiated into our Lodge, and we hope that
they will be able to attend this event. If you, or someone
you know is in need of a ride to our birthday party, please contact any
lodge officer by calling 508-533-2136. We hope to see everyone there!

Welcome to the Franklin Lodge of Elks, #2136 of The Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks of the United States of America. The Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks (BPOE) was founded on the cardinal principles of charity, justice, brotherly love and fidelity. Since its inception in the late 1800's, the BPOE has grown into one of the most respected organizations in the United States, and since July 1959, the Franklin Lodge and its members have been proud to represent this organization. We are just one of over 2,200 lodges throughout the U.S., with over 1.4 million members nationally.
